Hi, I’m Chris!

Over the last 5 years, I’ve been leading teams, developing, and executing marketing programs for enterprise-level businesses & startups. Overall I have 12 years of hands-on experience in integrated marketing, advertising, and data analysis.

I normally use big data as a part of my decision-making and planning processes and I tend to move fast to execute those decisions whenever possible. My interest in new ideas and tools within marketing, emerging technology, and information management systems goes beyond being an expert in any single platform – I make it a point to research and utilize the latest technologies, methods, and tools that are available for me to effectively analyze, inform & deploy any initiative I’m working on. This has become a healthy part of my life and it is something I spend time working on every day to better my skill set to be able to help inform those around me.

Right after finishing graduate school (UCSB, New Media) and having taught 13 classes while working through my degree, I started a company that eventually became a successful B&M retail business. It was an extremely fun and rewarding experience where I left the community in a better spot than when I had started. It was acquired 2 years after it began and still exists today. To be successful in management and marketing, I believe you need to have a positive, can-do attitude as well as a healthy work ethic balanced with outside experiences and projects in your life.
